I lose a bit more faith in humanity with each passing day for one reason or another...

This is today's reason (NOTE: the link is not for the faint of heart; you've been warned)

The link is rather old, but things like that are still happening in the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Slovakia.

I'm not really surprised that this is happening in some places in the world (not much of anything surprises me anymore), but that doesn't make it right in any sense of the word. I simply cannot see how anyone could see this as okay.

This organization is working to put a stop to this horrible cruelty. Please donate if you can. Every little bit helps.

Even if you can't donate, I encourage you all to spread the word by posting about this on your journal, devART, MySpace, personal webpage... whatever you've got. In fact, I'm also going to post this on my MySpace and devART, not to mention E-mailing people.
